Terms for Slaf

Short version:

Be decent, use your head, and don't ruin it for others.

What is Slaf?

Slaf is a social network built by a slaf – for other slafs. It's a place for chat, community and having fun online.

But for it to work for everyone we need a few simple rules.

Using Slaf

By using Slaf you agree to:

  • ●not break any laws
  • ●not harass, threaten or harm others
  • ●not spread junk, spam or harmful content
  • ●not attempt to technically sabotage the service

You are free to:

  • ●be yourself
  • ●have a sense of humour
  • ●say what you think (as long as you're not being an arsehat to others)

Your content

What you post on Slaf is yours.

But by posting you give us the right to:

  • ●display it within the service
  • ●store it for as long as your account exists

You are responsible for what you post.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account.

That means:

  • ●keep your credentials safe
  • ●don't share your account with others
  • ●contact us if something feels wrong

We may suspend accounts that break the rules.

What we can do

We try to keep Slaf open and fun, but we may:

  • ●remove content that breaks the rules
  • ●suspend or delete accounts
  • ●restrict features if necessary

Not to be difficult — but to protect the community.

Availability

We do our best to keep Slaf running, but:

  • ●we can't promise it's always up
  • ●things can break
  • ●features may change

It's a living service.

Liability

You use Slaf at your own risk.

We are not responsible for:

  • ●what other users post
  • ●any issues that may arise

But we always try to resolve things in a reasonable way.

Changes

We may update these terms when needed.

If it's something important we'll let you know.

Deleting your account

If you want to leave Slaf it should be easy.

Delete your account and what you've posted will be removed (with certain technical exceptions like backups/logs).

Contact

Have questions or issues?

Reach out. We respond like humans, not robots.

Final words

Slaf exists to make the internet feel a little more alive again.

So:

  • ●be decent
  • ●have fun
  • ●and don't ruin it for others

That's pretty much it.
